Great tempeh starts with great beans. Our Ivory Lentils are split, dehulled, and washed black matpe beans. They are clean and ready to cook and make unique marinate-ready tempehs. Nearly flavor-neutral and very small in size, these beans also make a great, flavor-absorbing tempeh as a soy-free substitute for tofu.
Each 2.75lb bag makes about 6lbs of fresh tempeh.
