Planit Ground Protein Texture Base is an incredibly flexible protein alternative. We provide this as a fairly flavor-neutral base texture for a 'ground meat' like mix. IF YOU WANT A PLANT-BASED BURGER profile, also purchase the "Planit Burger Blend" of fermentation spices--  together they make a 5 pound tray of delicious burger but also works as a flexible meat-free ingredient when sliced or crumbled. Not only does the fermentation process provide digestive health and bio-availability benefits, but the resulting natural myceliation is what binds the ingredients together, instead of the over-processed, unnatural and often unhealthy ingredients required in the production of other burger substitutes.

And, as with all Planit foods, because you make it on-site, it never includes preservatives. This bag includes our mix of 4 dry ingredients (vegetable proteins and potato starch) for fermentation in the Planit Pod. Easy-prep only requires a mixer, boiling water, cold water, Planit Starter Culture (not included) and your preferred oil when ready to cook.
